Introducing the Greystone ARNPs
Introducing the Greystone ARNPs
We often talk about what makes Greystone different, and it usually has to do with our outstanding staff of health professionals, who time and time again go the extra mile to provide dignified care and treat our patients like family.
While this attribute of our business is something we love to brag about, our number-one priority is getting our patient’s back to their healthiest, most independent selves. That’s why we began our internal Greystone ARNP-PRN program.
You may find yourself asking, “What’s an ARNP?” An ARNP is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. These professionals have advanced their education to a master’s degree level and received additional medical training, allowing them to diagnose, treat and perform many of the same functions as a physician.
There are many benefits associated with our Greystone ARNP-PRN program for both patients and their families such as expedited answers to medical questions, facilitated communication between the patient and their primary care physician, and a clear diagnosis education.
A Greystone ARNP is an educator and a patient advocate. They are able to diagnose and treat medical conditions, prescribe medication, recommend appropriate therapy, conduct complete examinations, order and evaluate tests and labs, collaborate with the patient’s primary care physician regarding the current plan of care, complete ongoing assessments of patient well-being and health needs, provide education to nursing staff to improve the quality of care, discuss the care plan and rationale with the patient and their family, discuss all aspects of health and disease, assist the patient and their family through the transitions of care, and so much more.
We hope you better understand the value in our unique ARNP-PRN program, and that you’ll share this new knowledge with your friends and family. The unique combination of passion for innovative health solutions and compassion for the patient and their family is what truly sets Greystone Health Network apart from the rest.
